The Story of Independence

The beloved "Independence" series originated from CHTHONIC × CiongZo Independence beer, released in 2014. Smooth yet full of character, the beer reflects the journey toward independence itself—one that continues to be celebrated today.

In the emblem, the Chinese character 「獨」 ("independence") has been thoughtfully redesigned by replacing the 「虫」 component with 「土」 ("earth" or "land"). It symbolizes not only our determination to build a normal nation, but also the belief that every ideal should take root in the land beneath our feet, and that every honor should return to the land that nurtures us.

The Story of the Greater Cause

Standing up for what is right has always been part of CiongZo's DNA. From Indigenous rights, Tibetan freedom, and marriage equality to broader human rights issues around the world, CiongZo has spent years creating designs that give voice to these causes while also providing tangible support through donations to related NGOs.
