(Pre-order) CHTHONIC《Battlefields of Asura》Vinyl - English version

CHTHONIC's 2018 award-winning album Battlefields of Asura is now re-released on vinyl by the collector-favorite Finnish label Svart Records.

The album incorporates metaphors on social ideologies and philosophies through depictions of Taiwanese deities. Musically, it blends East Asian elements with a mythological and religious atmosphere. The lyrics convey themes of resistance, freedom, fraternity, and defense. The album also features guest appearances by Randy Blythe of Lamb of God and Hong Kong singer Denise Ho. The album earned CHTHONIC several nominations at the 2019 Golden Melody Awards and won the award for Best Band.

The album is now being released on vinyl in Europe and North America in 2026, marking 13 years since CHTHONIC’s previous release in these regions, Bu-Tik (2013). The vinyl edition will also feature a specially updated version of the original cover artwork, offering an added appeal for collectors.
